Black Peak - East Scramble
After a last-minute, night-before stoke rally to get out and conquer something outdoors, a one-day, scrambly mission to summit Black Peak formed. Conditions turned out to be flawless for the rowdy North Cascades peak, and the mission? Accomplished.
The sun rose and the inversion dropped right as we arrived near Wing Lake, making for unbelievable morning conditions. I couldn’t stop smiling. Billy’s emotions got the best of him.

Thought I would dress for the occasion. Standing in front of the last section, summit is directly above me.
